It is time!!! Now…well knowing that the holidays are upon us…this, however, is also preparation time for the PTA to initiate organization of the second half of this school’s year’s events!
One of the events being our biggest fundraiser, The Annual Seahorse Festival! With completion of some research, from years past, the festival was most successful when held on The Sanibel School’s campus for two reasons, a FABULOUS SILENT AUCTION and SPONSORS!!! So, this year, we are back on campus! If you or a business can help defray the expense of this event to allow more monies to be earned for our children and/or assist with the silent auction, please contact the board. Every one of us makes a difference and we are totally grateful!
Also, any adult or 4TH-8TH grade student, who volunteers to do a small job at the Seahorse Festival, will be given one entry for a drawing for 2 Disney tickets-one day passes!!! (These passes were earned from “The Disney Points of Light Program” due to the efforts of the many volunteers from previous events - WAY TO GO SANIBEL PTA TEAM!)
In addition, the PTA is still accepting donations for the $200 from 200 Donation Invitation Campaign which, so far, has earned approximately $7,000.00. Our donors’ generosity has definitely assisted to make up for a $6,000.00 deficit from last year’s budget. Please consider to still donate! All donations are tax deductible!
